Outside this map

This day is for a first or second trip. Stops are well known, easy to reach, workable without Japanese, and take credit cards.

Do this day on any day except Wednesday, and not on 20 October, 24 November, or 8 December. Lunch is Kanda Yabusoba, and that shop is closed on Wednesday. teamLab Borderless is closed on those three dates. Breakfast is in Akihabara, then the electronics streets and Radio Kaikan, then the Hibiya Line to teamLab Borderless. Tokyo Tower is the dusk stop. Dinner is in Nishi-Azabu. teamLab Planets, in Toyosu, is the comparison, not a stop on the line.

An eSIM is the simplest way to get data. Read the Japan eSIM guide, compare Japan plans, or start from the Wakamo home page.

Breakfast

Breakfast: Komeda Coffee Atre Akihabara 2, the Komeda's Coffee shop on the 2nd floor of Atre Akihabara 2, at 1-9 Kanda Hanaokacho. Akihabara Electric Town is the area in Sotokanda, Chiyoda. GO TOKYO describes it as the electronics and pop-culture streets by JR Akihabara Station, about 5 minutes on foot from the Electric Town Exit. On Sundays the street is closed to cars: pedestrians from 13:00 to 18:00 from April to September, and from 13:00 to 17:00 from October to March. The page says that may be cancelled for rain or strong wind. English is the GO TOKYO page. This is not a paid stop.

Akihabara Radio Kaikan

Akihabara Radio Kaikan is the building at 1-15-16 Sotokanda, inside that area. The building is open 10:00–20:00. The basement keeps later hours: weekdays 12:00–22:30, last order 22:00; Saturdays 11:30–22:30, last order 22:00; Sundays and holidays 11:30–21:30, last order 21:00. The access page does not publish a walk time from the station. The page is in Japanese. This is not a paid stop.
